Meet the builder

Ed Schaefer is a frame-to-finish carpenter and the owner of Red Bird Carpentry, bringing decades of hands-on building experience to every project. From framing homes in Alaska and the Pacific Northwest to building custom homes and additions in Vermont, Ed has developed a deep respect for quality craftsmanship and the belief that it’s all in the details. Today, Red Bird Carpentry specializes in transforming homes through thoughtful, well-built spaces that improve the way clients live.

Outside of work, Ed enjoys biking, fishing, skiing, and spending time outdoors with his family. He also loves coaching and spending time with his son.
